North Lodge is the historic gate house to Courtlands House in Courtlands Lane, Exmouth.

The lodge property is now a separate family home, and we as a practice were asked to enlarge the dwelling to accommodate larger bedrooms and living space.

The photo's show a two storey rear (estuary facing) extension with living room at ground floor and bedrooms at first floor level.

This is the first phase of a two phase development, the second phase is the connection of the main house to the garage, creating a new family room / kitchen at ground floor level with vaulted ceilings and full height glazing.
